This installation continues the theme of the flow of information via symbols and encodings. During a lifetime, we meet millions of people. Our paths cross and then diverge, leaving marks in our lives, our subconscious, and time. This is how new lives and substances are born. Non-verbal words and phrases written in different alphabets become encoded. While the UNITY project emphasizes hearing, this installation spotlights the visual perception of codes through differences in alphabets. Varied alphabets form the visual part of the installation, creating a singular image of a person. The alphabets’ graphics are a symbolic code that allows the viewer to perceive the person’s features. The specially composed music allows us to follow the rhythm of the installation. The interactive projections makes the viewer part of the story and part of the flow of information.
